Buying prints and licences
Prints can be ordered for private study purposes by adding images to a 'shopping basket'. When you find an image you would like to buy, click on the arrow next to the price box and select the size. In the shopping basket page select the quantity that you want to order and then click on 'refresh basket'. Once you have finished adding images to your basket, click the 'view basket' button to see what you're about to order. You can change the number of copies required or remove images from the basket altogether by putting '0' in the box. Confirm any changes by clicking on 'refresh basket'. Then click the 'go to checkout' button.
This takes you to the checkout screen. Once you have reviewed your order here, choose the country you would like your order shipped to, and add your postcode. When you are ready, press the proceed button. You will be shown your order in full and the total cost (including VAT and postage). Fill in your name, address and credit card details, and submit the order .
If you wish to purchase a digital file rather than a paper print, or you wish use the image in a book or magazine, a report, presentation, on a website, in a TV programme, or in any commercial way you need to purchase an image licence. Click on the ‘Buy a licence button and select the intended use. This will reveal the appropriate fee.
