Pictured Top (l.to r.) Driver John Blagden (Royal Field Artillery), Private Wm. Hogg (Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry) - killed in action, 12th December, 1914 and Corporal Joseph Colgrave. Bottom (l.to r.) Gunner James Duff (Royal Field Artillery), Ernest Booth (Royal Marines) - lost on H.M.S. Formidable, and Lance-Sergeant Arthur Holt (Royal Rifles). Inscription at the top of the image reads Those let me willingly obey. Who my commanders be; Both with my place, and with my pay. Contented make Thou me. George Wither (1639)
