Herr Lutz was an architect and ex-Wehrmacht officer who was confined in the camp from September 1945 - April 1948. Whilst a POW he made several watercolour sketches and lino cuts of the camp. To do the lino cut Herr Lutz used a piece of linoleum he had picked up, probably in the staff huts, and used a razor blade to make the cuts.
