Herr Lutz was an architect and ex-Wehrmacht officer who was confined in the camp from September 1945 - April 1948. Whilst a POW he made several watercolour sketches and lino cuts of the camp. To make the lino cut Herr Lutz used a piece of linoleum he had picked up probably in the staff huts and made the cuts with a razor blade.
