The gentleman on the far right of the photograph is the donor's father Alan Grocock, who worked at Yorkshire Engine Company in the 1960s.The company began building steam locomotives in 1865. In the 1950s they began building diesel locomotives for heavy industrial use.This is an example of a diesel-electric shunting locomotive.
