This 1913/14 built canal keel was lifted off the water for restoration in 1996. The planned renovation did not take place and she was broken up a few years later. It was not the end of her though! Pieces from the vessel were later used to construct a bar at the Dorothy Pax, a bar and restaurant, named after the vessel, at Arch 17, Wharf Street, Victoria Quays.

Behind the keel are Spartan Steelworks and the canal foot bridge - see image c02041.
