Caledonia Works, Mappin Street, rebuilt 1893, originally owned by William Turner and Sons, steel files and edge tools. Aquired by University of Sheffield c1900, used as a Technical Department and then by the Metallurgical Department. Last used as workshops for Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Demolished October 1990. Replaced by St. Georges Library, some artifacts retained including keystone representing Heracles wearing the head of the Namean lion.
