Formerly theLansdowne Picture Palace. It opened in 1914 and closed following air raids on the night of 12 December 1940 although damage was apparently negligible. 1947 building converted for use as a temporary Marks and Spencers Store; 1950's became a Mecca Dance Hall, Locarno and later Tiffany's nightclub then reverted back to Locarno.
