Theatre Royal, Sheffield. Theatre Royal, Sheffield Immense attraction for Christmas holidays. Grand burlesque and pantomime! Conrad and Medora! Or, Harlequin Corsair, and The Little Fairy at the Bottom of the Sea!! Produced under Mr Charles Dillon's management, at the Royal Lyceum theatre, London, and which achieved such celebrity that it was acted thirty nights longer than any other Christmas entertainment in the metropolis. The whole of the scenery painted by Mr William Ramsden and assistance, will be entirely new. The machinery by Mr Caunt. Morning performance on Monday and Tuesday, at 2:30, Grand burlesque and pantomime! Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 27, 28, & 29, the performances will commence with the comedy of All That Glitters Is Not Gold! After which, will be presented, first time in Sheffield, and entirely new allegorical, beautiful, comical, diverting, educational, fanciful, gorgeous, hyperbolical, intellectual, jovial, keen, laughable, merry, novel, original, peculiar, quizzical, romantic, splendid, transcendent, unobjectionable, volatile, waggish, extravagant, youthful, grand comic Christmas burlesque and pantomime, called Conrad and Medora, or, Harlequin Corsair, and the Little Fairy at the Bottom of the Sea!! [Performers]: Miss Lucy Ashton, Mr Barton, Miss Ellen Boyce, Mr E. Campbell, Mr Forrest, Mr Gresham, Mrs Gresham, Mr Harris, Mr Charles Horsman, Mr Simpson, Mr Charles Steyne, Mr J. Tyrrell, Mrs Waller, Mr Warlow, Miss Eliza Webb. The prices during Christmas week will be: Boxes 2s., Stalls, 1s. 6d., Pit 1s., Gallery 6d. Half price to boxes only at nine o’clock.
