Theatre Royal, Sheffield. Lessees Messrs. Wolfenden and Melbourne, 25, Arundel Street. Great success of Sir William Don pronounced to be the best eccentric comedian of the age; Lady Don received with universal approbation. Mr Wolfenden As Wild Murtoch. On Saturday evening, May 22nd, 1858, The performances will commence with the admired Adelphia Drama, by B Buckstone, Esquire entitled Green Bushes! Or, Ireland 100 years ago. To conclude with the domestic drama, called The Toodles! In preparation and will be produced on Whitsuntide Holidays, the grand burlesque, Perdita [Performers]: Mr Champion, Miss Cuttriss, Lady Don [late Miss Emily Sanders], Sir William Don, Mr Henry, Mr Jackman, Mrs H. Lacy, Mr H. Lacy, Mrs Mortimer, Miss F. Roberston, Mr John Saunders, Mr Smith, Miss Smith, Mr J. H. Wolfenden. Doors open at Seven o’clock, to commence at half-past. Children in arms not admitted to any part of the house. Admission: Boxes 2s. 6d., Stalls, 1s. 6d., Pit 1s., Gallery 6d.
