Theatre Royal, Sheffield. Lessees Messrs. Wolfenden and Melbourne, 25, Arundel Street. For the benefit of Mr W. Harrison and positively the last night but one of the opera company. First night of Mendelssohn's Son and Stranger. On Friday evening, March 26th, 1858, will be presented (by desire and for positively the last time) Balfe’s opera entitled The Bohemian Girl! The only correct books of the opera to be had of Mr. Evans, and at the theatre, 1s. each. To conclude with (first time) Mendelssohn's operetta, adapted to the English stage by H. F. Chorley, esquire, entitled Son and Stranger. Conductor Mr Alfred Mellon. Tomorrow, Saturday, Bellini’s operaLa Sonnambulawith other entertainments. [Performers:] Miss Lanza, Mr Ferdinand Glover, Mr Hamilton Braham, Mr George Honey, Mr A. St Albyn, Mr Edmonds, Miss Thirlwall, Miss Charlton, and Mr W. Harrison. Stage manager Mr William Brough. Acting manager Mr Edward Murray. Children in arms not admitted. Doors open at seven o'clock to commence at half past. Admission: Boxes 4s., Stalls, 3s., Pit 2s., Gallery 1s. No half price.
