this evening.

The following celebrated artists will appear: Miss Lanza, Mr Ferdinand Glover, Mr Hamilton Braham, Mr George Honey, Mr. A. St Albyn, Mr Wallworth, Mr Edmonds, Miss Thirlwall, Miss Charlton, and Mr W. Harrison.Conductor Mr Alfred Mellon.

The Chorus

(From the Lyceum) where the Choral Department was so universally extolled, will consist of the following

Soprani: Messrs Evans, Brown, Charlton, Manetti.

Contralti: Walker, Boden, Martin.

Tenors: J. Price, Pendegrass, Goodman, Ryalls.

Basses: Messrs Hodges, Skelton, Leman, Ludford

The Band

Which will be on the same scale of efficiency and completeness that called forth enthusiastic praise during the late Lyceum Opera Season, will include the following well-known instrumentalists:

First violin, Mr Carrodus; Second violin, Mr Haag; Viola Mr Levason; Violincello Mr W. F. Reed. Contra-Basso, Mr White, Principal Flute, Mr Meyer; Principal Clarionet [sic], Mr Riddell. Principal Oboe, Mons Barret; Principal Bassoon, Mr Smith; Principal Horn, Mr Waterson; Principal trombone, Mr J. Horton; First trumpet, Mr Stanton Jones. Kettle and side drum, Mr Hinchley; Harpist, Mr Cheshire.

On Saturday evening, March 20, 1858 will be produced Balfe’s opera entitled The

Bohemian

Girl.

The only correct books of the opera to be had of Mr. Evans, and at the theatre, 1s. each.

To conclude with, (third time in Sheffield), an entirely new burletta,

With original music composed by Mr W. M. Montgomery.

On Monday, Auber’s opera of

Fra Diavolo.

Stage manager Mr William Brough. Acting manager Mr Edward Murray.

Children in arms not admitted. Doors open at seven o'clock to commence at half past.

Admission: Boxes 4s., Stalls, 3s., Pit 2s., Gallery 1s. No half price.

Tickets and places can be secured, and the Box plan seen, at Mr Evans's, Music Warehouse, Norfolk Street.
