Messrs W. and M. beg to announce Mr and Mrs Charles Dillon and company

for positively 9 nights only

as they are engaged to appear at the Theatre Royal, Manchester, on Monday, Oct. 12th.

Continued success of those distinguished favourites Mr and Mrs Chas. Dillon who is nightly received with tremendous applause.

Belphegor for this night only!

On Thursday evening, Oct. 1, 1857 the performance will commence with the laughable farce called Bamboozling!

The performances will by [sic] followed by the grand drama of ‘Paillasse’, from the French of M. M. Marc Fournier and Dennery, called

Belphegor!

The Mountebank.

To conclude with the laughable farce of

The Lone House

on the Heath.

On Friday, October 2nd, 1857,

under the patronage of the committee of the

Royal Sheffield Volunteers

for the benefit of

Mrs Charles Dillon

when will be presented the highly successful play, by Westland Marston, esquire of

The Life’s Ransom

in which Mr and Mrs Chas. Dillon will sustain their original characters.

To conclude with the comic drama of

The Musketeers

with all the original splendid dresses.

[Performers]: Mr Barratt, Mr Belton, Mr H. Beverley, Mr Burt, Mr Bury, Mr J. Chester, Mr Collins, Mr Charles Dillon [1819-1881], Mrs Charles Dillon, Mr Dolman, Miss Graham, Miss E. Graham, Miss Grainger, Mr Grainger, Mr Johnson, Miss Sarah Lewis, Mr S. May, Mr Parsey, Mr Rivers, Miss Thorne, and Mr Young.

The managers beg to announce that during this important engagement every effort will be made to render each representation as complete and effective as possible. The regular winter season will commence about the middle or latter part of October.

Doors open at half past Six o’clock, performances to commence at Seven.

Admission - Boxes, 3s.; Stalls, 2s.; Pit, 1s.; Gallery. 6d.

Half price at 9 o’clock. Boxes, 1s 6d. Stalls, 1s. No half price to pit or gallery.

The box plan is now open at Mr Evans's Music Saloon, 51, Norfolk Street. No admittance behind the scenes.
