The dream spectre!

Inconsequence of numerous applications for the repetition of this drama, it will be acted for the last time, this evening Saturday, together with a new drama, entitled

Dominique, the Deserter; Or the Gentleman in Black.

Saturday evening, Nov 11th, 1848, will be presented an entirely new, original, interesting, legendary drama, (in three acts) replete with startling effects and situations of terror, entitled the Dream Spectre! Or the Legend of the Sleepers Shrift!

With all the original scenery and powerful effects, as before advertised.

The music of the dream spectre composed and arranged by Mr Howard.

An Irish lilt by Miss Laura Sanders. Admired ballad by Miss Ada Harcourt. Gran pas de Deux by Miss Adeline Lonsdale and Mr Hunt,

To conclude with the new drama of Dominique, the Deserter; Or the Gentleman in Black.

On Monday evening, Macbeth, and a new nautical drama, of great interest, entitled, the challenge at Sea; Or, the battle between the Chesapeake and the Shannon [Battle of Boston Harbour, 1813, War of 1812].

Mayland, Mr Mulford, Mrs Mulford, Miss Laura Sanders, Miss Sanders, Mr J. F. Saville, Mr R. F. Smith, Mr M. Smythson, , Mr M. Watkins, and Mr J. H. White.

Various other novelties are in active preparation.

The doors will open at half-past six. The curtain to rise at seven o'clock precisely.

Boxes, 2s. 6d. (second price, at a quarter before 9 o’clock, 1s. 6d.) Pit, 1s. Gallery 6d.

Pass out cheques not transferable. Officers will be in attendance to preserve quiet and good order. The box plan will be at the Theatre Royal and at Mr Thompson’s, confectioner, High Street, where tickets and places for the boxes may be taken.
