Corporal Edward John Audoire (1888-1980), 1917

Corporal Edward John Audoire served with the Royal Engineers, 455th West Riding Field Company in the First World War. He was originally from Guernsey but relocated to Sheffield c. 1911 where he lived at 12 Warwick Terrace, Walkley at the time of his enlistment with his wife Jessie (nee Mettam) (1893-1982) and his daughter Elsie Constance, known as Connie (1914-2006).

Information on back of photograph: returned from France Feb 13th 1917 .
