Sign reads: Please do not queue to enter stores when red is displayed and keep moving. During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 all non-essential shops were required to close from 23rd March under the Government imposed lockdown.Meadowhall Shopping Centre remained opened throughout lockdown, but only essential shops were open. It reopened with social distancing and new hygiene measures on 15th June.A traffic light system was installed. Signs outside shops were either green (safe to enter) or red (maximum number of customers reached - do not enter or queue). |
