We must make every effort to distance ourselves physically from one another and prevent the spread of infection.

In light of this, the time has come, at Sheffield Cathedral, not only for us to suspend public worship, but for us to close the cathedral entirely to members of the public.

In doing this we demonstrate how important physical distancing is in saving lives.

The clergy of the cathedral will be leading the regular cathedral worship on behalf of everyone.
