Sign reads: Due to the high demand for these products, they are all limited to one item per customer. All toilet roll or kitchen roll is limited to one per customer, one of each is not allowed. Cleaning products are limited to one per customer (bleach, sprays, etc). This is so all our customers have a fair chance at being able to get the products they require. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. As the number of cases of Coronavirus infections in the UK increased there was a surge in sales of essential products such as hand sanitizer, cleaning materials and toilet rolls, along with foodstuffs such as flour, pasta and bread. Stores started to ration their supplies from mid-March onwards as well as restrict the numbers in-store to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. |
