Photograph taken on the Coleridge Road side of Brown Bayley. Pictured (front left) is Lavinia Shaw (nee Cockayne). She was born in 1899 and worked in the machine shop on a lathe at Brown Bayley's during the 1940s along with her daughters Hilda (from 1941) Winifred (from 1942) and Lavinia (junior) (from 1948). Lavinia Shaw died in 1974.

Photograph donated as part of the 'Women of Steel' campaign.
