Pictured on the front row (third from right) is Elizabeth Morton (nee Wright). She was born in 1919. She moved to Sheffield from Stanton in Peak, Derbyshire during the Second World War to contribute to the war effort. She worked at Hardypick (formerly The Hardy Patent Pick Co.) where she met George Morton, a grinder who was working in protected trade, whom she later married.Photograph donated as part of the 'Women of Steel' campaign.Sheffield City Archives ref.
