In loving memory of Edgar, the dearly beloved son of Robert Ellis and Eliza Hides who departed this life 24 Feb 1885 aged 9 months. Also of Florence, their dearly beloved daughter, who departed this life 28 may 1886 aged 3 years and 7 months. “suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Also of Ernest Hides, 4th Battalion 1st Infantry Brigade, Australian Forces, youngest son of the above, killed in action in Gallipoli, 6 Aug 1915, aged 23 years. Also the above names Robert Ellis Hides, who departed this life 19 Apr 1919, aged 63 years. Till the day dawn and the shadows flee away. |
