The Plaza Cinema, junction of Richmond Road and Bramley Lane. Opened 27 December 1937, seating just over 1100. Closed 29 September 1963. Reopened 2 October 1963 as a bingo hall

Abbeydale Picture House, Abbeydale Road. Designed by Dixon and Stienley. Opened 20 December 1920. Took over by the Star Group in the 1950s. Closed 5 July 1975. Bought by A. and F. Drake Ltd. and converted into an office furniture showroom
