Victoria Park Hotel, junction of Clarkehouse Road and Southbourne Road. Later occupied as a private residence by Samuel Osborn and renamed Rutledge House.

Ruskin Museum, Meersbrook Park, opened 1890. Former Meersbrook House, built 1780 by Benjamin Roebuck, a private Sheffield banker. Later became the residence of the Shore family, also the owners of Norton Hall. Sold both estates in 1850.
