Dr Duncan Burgess (1850 - 1917), of Broomfield House, Glossop Road, Sheffield, died on Wednesday. He was Lt. Col. and Officer in Charge of the Medical Section of the Third Northern General Hospital.

Temp. Major Graham McNicol, Durham Light Infantry, son of Mrs Margaret McNicol of 23 Carter Knowle Road, Sheffield, awarded the Distinguished Service Order.
