Lansdowne Picture Palace opened 1914 closed following air raid damage in 1940. In 1947 building converted for use as a temporary Marks and Spencers Store; 1950s became a Mecca Dance Hall, Locarno, and later Tiffany's nightclub then reverted back to Locarno.
