Several areas of the estate have an increasingly aged population. Nearly half the estates households are pensioner households. There are groups of purpose built and sheltered housing on the estate, such as at the Support Unit on Wotrdsworth Avenue, Emerson Crescent and a further home for the elderly Lytton.
