This aerial view shows the Woodside development taken from above Parkwood Springs which is in the foreground bordered by Cooks Wood Rd on the left and Rutland Road running along the bottom of Parkwood Springs to join Cooks Wood Road.The main road visible on the middle extreme left is Burngreave Road and the road on the middle left is Nottingham Street. In the background centre, is Park Hill flats and to the left of them is Hyde Park flats.To the middle right is the Bridghouses Goods depot and the edge of the city centre.On Rutland Road can be seen the factory of Stanley Tools which partly hides Woodside Lane, the small road joining Woodside Lane to Rutland Road is Wood Fold. Macro Street runs along side the railway on the right of the picture.
