Title:Barrage balloon over Tinsley area during World War II
Location:Sheffield_Grimesthorpe
Date:1941
Date Period:1940-1959
Photographer:Imperial War Museum

Notes:

For more information see; 'Sheffield At War, A Pictorial Account 1939-45'. Cat. No. 940.5442 SQ.

Information with the photograph indicated it was Petre Street but information from Dave Sowter, I never saw a cooling tower when I lived there (1949 -67) so unless one was demolished it cannot be Petre St, more likely Brightside or Tinsley.
