Ltd (1864) ammalgamating with Laird Brothers of Birkenhead . March 1929 became part of English Steel Corporation Reference to Trademark camel : ESC News Autumn 1954. In 1877 a camel was registered as a trademark by Charles Cammell and Co., and in 1886 this was shown as a llam-like creature with one small hump. by 1898 however, the two- humped animal had arrived, and it was apparently not until 1927 that the veracity of this representation was called in to doubt. and eventually it was decided to return to the modern one-hump.
