Notes:

Sheffield City Council welcomes you to the City Hall. However ...

Leaflet lays out the Council's opposition to apartheid and how entertainers who perform in South Africa will not be booked to perform on any premises owned by Sheffield City Council while the system of apartheid remains in operation in South Africa.  Makes particular reference to Elton John, stating that Elton has been invited by the Council to make his opposition to apartheid plain by making a statement to the effect that he will not return to South Africa while apartheid remains in force.  Noted, no reply from Elton on the issue to date.
