The event featured performances by Electrovamp, Laura Steele and Scooch.

Sheffield hosted its first ever LBGT Pride (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) event in Cemetery Park in 2008 and was called South Yorkshire Pride, changing its name in 2009 to Sheffield Pride.
