Hare and Hounds, Upper Gate Road, Stannington. First recorded as a pub around 1790 and known as Well Green House and the Blue Boar. Mentioned as Hare and Hounds in 1837. Demolished in 1960s. Upper Gate Road was known locally as Gray's Hill.
