12000 horse power Steam Engine built 1905 by Davy Brothers of Sheffield, originally to drive Charles Cammell's armour plate rolling mill, Grimesthorpe Works. Transferred to British Steel Corporation River Don Works and used to drive a heavy plate mill until 1978 when it ceased production. Transferred to Kelham Island Industrial Museum, restored to working order and can be seen in Steam now the most powerful working steam engine in Europe
