The premises were from 1923 -1970 occupied by White, Favell and Cockayne, wine and spirit merchants then it was refurbished and opened as The Stone House P.H. Information from: A definitive A to Z listings of Sheffield Public Houses Ref: 728.5 SQ There was a courtyard with artificial shop frontages all round and benches to sit at. To give it a turn of the century feel, carts and olde world figures were dotted around.
