Theatre Royal, Sheffield. Lessees Messrs. Wolfenden and Melbourne, 25, Arundel Street. First night of Leigh Hunt’s new comedy of Lover’s Amazements! in which Mr and Mrs Chas. Dillon will positively appear, Mr J. G. Shore, Mr S. Calhaem, Mr J. Neville and Miss Eliza Webb. First and only night of Belphegor for the benefit of Mr and Mrs Chas. Dillon and positively their last appearance. Under the patronage and presence of Colonel Harding, and the officers of the 22nd; the splendid bandof the regiment will attend and play appropriate selections. On Friday evening, April 9th, will be presented (for the first time in Sheffield and performed for upwards of 40 consecutive nights at the Royal Lyceum theatre), the last new comedy, entitled Lover’s Amazements! To conclude with the grand drama of Paillasse from the French of M. Fournier and Dennery, called Belphegor The Mountebank. [Performers]: Mr S. Calhaem, Mr Castin, Mr A. Denial, Mr Charles Dillon, Mrs Dillon, Mr Grey, Miss Hemmings, Mr Hemmings, Mr Horseman, Miss Fanny Morelli, Mr J. Neville, Miss Rayne, Mr H. Rivers, Mr J. G. Shore, Mr T. J. Shore, Mr Stevens, Mr Thompson, Mrs Turner, Miss Eliza Webb, Mr Younge. Stage Manager Mr Rivers. Children in arms not admitted. Doors open at half-past six o'clock to commence at seven.
