This evening, Saturday,

January 23, 1858,

the performances will commence with J. B. Buckstone’s drama, in two acts, of

Ben Bolt.

To conclude with the grand historical pantomime, introducing a variety of local, vocal, moral and whimsical events, (on a scale of grandeur never before witnessed in Sheffield), entitled

Humpty Dumpty!

With all the magnificent scenery!And extraordinary mechanical effects.

On Monday, Jan. 25th, the managers intend giving a grand special day performance of the pantomime only, in honour of the marriage of the Princess Royal [Victoria, Princess Royal (1840-1901) and Prince Frederick of Prussia (1831-1888)], commencing at One O'clock and terminating about Three, when the children of the charity schools will be admitted free.
