Charles Henry Mackinder, eldest son of James Mackinder was born in Sheffield in 1871. He became a manager at Kayser, Elliott and Co. Steel Wire Mills. Like his father, he became a steward of the Hanover United Methodist Circuit. He also served as Joint Secretary of Trustees for Firth Park United Methodist Church.
