For the third year in a row, Sheffield City Council and BetterPoints were delighted to announce their annual festive treat - the Christmas Travel offer. From 1st December [2025], anyone who earned 50 points on the app was able to get a one-day city-wide TravelMaster ticket - a day of free bus and tram travel anywhere in Sheffield. BetterPoints in Sheffield was part funded from South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority's Active Travel England Consolidated Acted Travel Fund allocation.
