Described by the well known artist in old glass, Mrs. Graydon Stannus, F.R.S.A. Medallist of the Royal Society of Arts, as 'a perfect gem in WATERFORD Glass'. Circa 1770.

Also pictured are two miniature glass tea sets. Striped ruby handles and feet, and tray.

This photograph was found amongst a series relating to Hadfield's Ltd. Its connection with the firm is unclear. It is possible the item was from Parkhead House (home of Sir Robert Hadfield).
