Notes:	Gravestone reads Sacred to the loving memory of Phoebe, the wife of James Parkin who died November 17th 1831, aged 35 years. Weep not for me whose life is past . Whose love for you so long did last. But kindness show and pity take. And love my children for my sake. Also of Ruth, second wife of the above named James Parkin who departed this life May 4th 185?, aged 57 years. Afflictions sore long time she bore, physicians tried in vain. Til god did please to give her ease, and take away her pain.
