Archibald Philip Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery, was Liberal politician, serving as Prime Minister in 1894-1895.

Rosebery visited the Atlas Works and Walker and Hall in 1894.

This postcard is the Davidson Bros. Pictorial post cards Series 6088, from originals by A. Ludovici.

This image was originally part of the Tim Hale Photographic Collection. It was purchased at auction in September 2019 through donations from members of the public and a grant from the Graves Trust.
