Transcription: Omnibus as quos presentes literae pervenerint salute Nos praepositus er socu seniors collegii sacro sandae er individuae trinitatis reginae Elizabeth juxta Dublin testamur gulielmo comiti Fitzwilliam gratiam concessam fuisse pro gradu doctoralus in utroque jure honoris causa.
Die vicesimo non Januarii Anno Domini millesimo septingentesimo nonagesimo quinto, in cujus rei testimonium singulorium manus et sigillum publicum collegii apposuimius nono die martii anno supradicto.
Translation: To all to whom the present letter shall come, we testify that the provost and senior members of the sacred college of the Holy Trinity at Queen Elizabeth near Dublin have been granted the privilege of honoring William Earl Fitzwilliam for their doctoral degree in both law.
On the twentieth day of January, in the year of our Lord, the fifth year of this record We have affixed a single hand and public seal to the college on March 9, the year aforesaid.
