Notes:	The group comprised: General Affairs Committee: Mr Katsuhisa Oda (Deputy Head of Delegation, Former Vice Speaker of the Council); Mr Tomokazu Hasegawa. Culture and Education Committee: Mr Naofumi Yamazaki (Former Speaker of the Council);Mr Ryouta Shima. Health and Social Welfare Committee: Mr Shigefumi Matsubara (Head of Delegation, Former Speaker of the Council); Mr Takaaki Katou; Mr. Chihiro Iwakuma (Vice Speaker of the Council); Ms Tomoko Suzuki. Urban Development Committee: Mr Yasuhiro Ishida (Former Speaker of the Council); Environmental Committee: Ms Ayaka Nasuno. Note: Sheffield and Kawasaki signed a Friendship Agreement on 30 July 1990. It was subsequently renewed in November 2010. The two cities came together as a consequence of the involvement of the University of Sheffield School of East Asian Studies.
