Christmas bubbles should have a maximum of 3 households.

Have a merry but safe Christmas. Choose your bubble carefully and stick to it.

Bubbles allowed households to form a connection with another household and act as though they lived together. As restrictions were tightened these became limited to support bubbles - a connection between a household with only one adult in the home to another household of any size. At the time this graphic was issued the Government was to allow a bubble of three households who could mix over 5 days. As the pandemic situation deteriorated soon after 17th December this was changed to allow bubbles to only meet on Christmas Day. In addition, residents were not permitted to travel to a different tier.
