Opened 18 March 1912 as Picturedrome, 1925, renamed Regent Theatre closing in 1940. 1945 became a Regent Steel Works social centre and for many years remained a ruin. In this photograph L. H. Funiss, joiner and shop fitter displays a sign and also used as a motor components shop.
