Further research by S Hedges:

Only Weston Park Girls School is in Southampton.

1879 Book of Schools for Girls and Colleges for Women by Charles Eyre Pascoe mentions Western Bank 267 Miss Graysmark, no school name or address.

Other potential directory listings of interest - 1822, 1825, 1828 and 1829 - Miss Jane Green, WestVille House, Ladies Boarding and Day School.

1833 - Jane Green, boarding school, Westville, Western Bank

1837 - Lawrence Potts, merchant, home Westville, Western Bank

1903 - J G Graves open offices and warehouse Westville, Weston Bank.

Possibility that Lawrence Potts bought the premises after it was a school. Could it be that J G graves built on the site of the original house and that the photograph is of one of these premises?
