Wightman family picnic
Sheffield
1893
1851-1899

Arthur Wightman (1842 - 1924) is the figure on the far left of the photograph, partially obscured by a young lady in front of him, who is thought to be Annie Maud Wightman (1854 - 1940), one of Arthur's sisters. Arthur's wife Edith Wightman (1850 - 1943) can be seen fourth from the left, wearing a dark-coloured coat and hat. The two gentlemen in the centre of the photograph, sitting towards the back, wearing caps and with cigars in their mouths, are possibly Benjamin Arthur Wightman (1873 - 1937), Arthur's eldest son, and Henry Temple Wightman (1866 - 1920), Arthur's youngest brother.
