Miss Helen Gilliland, who is appearing at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, made a special trip to open the Sheffield Doll Show in the Cutlers' Hall on December 9th, 1937.She performed the opening ceremony in place of the Duchess of Norfolk, who was indisposed.Picture shows Miss Gilliland with the pierot and pierette at the show.
