Notes:

In 1870, Albert Bohler (1845-1899) and his brother, Emil Bohler (d.1882), founded Kapfenberg Works in Austria for the manufacture of steel. They launched a Sheffield subsidiary in about 1884 at Savile Street. In 1916, Bohler Bros was wound up by the government as an 'enemy' manufacturer.
